Dan Hargrove
Of Counsel
Dan serves as of counsel to Waters & Kraus, LLP and has been a practicing attorney for almost 20 years. Dan prosecutes qui tam whistleblower cases ranging from Medicare fraud to off-label marketing and fraud against the military. He earned his bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University where he attended as an ROTC scholarship cadet and the Honors Program. Dan was awarded his Juris Doctor degree from St. Mary's University of Law in San Antonio, Texas and earned a Masters in Law from The U.S. Army Judge Advocate General's School in Charlottesville, Virginia. Dan served six years on active duty and was deployed to the Middle East during that time. He served with the 10th Mountain Division and 82nd Airborne Division. Dan is now a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Air Force JAG Corps Reserves and served as an Assistant Professor of Law at the Army JAG School from 2003 to 2011. Dan has extensive experience with government contracts, labor and employment issues, the False Claims Act, and the Federal Tort Claims Act. He is a frequent speaker on the False Claims Act and is a published author.
